Just over twelve months ago my breast cancer returned to my bones my spine in particular I was transferred from Huddersfield to St James where my case was taken to Dr Khan who agreed to operate on my spine I was transferred to LGI and met Dr Khan who explained my surgery in detail to me I had to wait three days for a slot in his very busy schedule but I was operated on with great success after five days I was on my way home to carry on my recovery I have continued to make great progress with a new cancer drug and have seen Dr Khan on my follow up appointments I cannot thank him enough for the work he has done along with his staff to get me to where I am walking I am now back at work life has nearly resumed to normal (what ever that may be!!) I am still having treatment for cancer but all in all I feel great many many thanks Dr Khan for your great work.

After suffering for six months with an right leg thigh pain with only 40% front elevation movement I had already tried two GPs and physio until I was referred to Mr Khan who arranged for an MRI and x-ray immediately. Mr Khan explained the L5-S1 disc herniation I was suffering from and my options at our next meeting, we agreed to do the initial lumbar epidural to get me pain free for five to eight weeks of which worked perfectly and then we would look to perform the discectomy in the new year once the holidays were out of the way. I am now nine weeks after the completely successful discectomy and all is well, no leg pain, and I'm back to having physio for a few months to strengthen my back at the correct pace. Mr Khan was excellent throughout, my fiancé and I had opportunities to ask any questions about both procedures and Mr Khan always made time to answer them. I highly recommend Mr Khan for this kind of procedure.

After suffering from buttock and leg pain - sometimes likened to sciatica - I met Mr Khan at the Nuffield Hospital in Leeds in June /July 2017. He was to say the least excellent in all my time I spent with him. After a couple of injections, which we knew may not help very much, and understanding my irrational fear of all thing hospital related he proposed non too invasive surgery which was carried out in January 2018. At all times during the run up and follow up to the operation I felt secure and in excellent hands. Mr Khan and his team were excellent. They understood my fears and calmed me to the point that I was proud of my own courage! It is now some 10 weeks since the procedure and life is inordinately better than it was before. There will I know be some odd symptoms around and I am managing those easily with a little help from the odd capsule - but I can now walk 6 - 10 miles without the previous pain, feel more confident and am I believe on the right trajectory to recovery. Thank you all for your excellent support and treatment.

I had scoliosis correctional surgery quite recently , I was very nervous but am so glad I had it. Mr khan listened to me and led me through everything . He has changed my life for the better
